Apple is celebrating 30 years of the Mac with some new pages showcasing how the masses use the Mac.



They’re chock-full of interviews and bios from creative celebrities like Moby and Hans Zimmer.

You can scroll along the timeline for the past 30 years and read up on some really cool ways people use their Macs.



Another great thing is that the pages are full of high res pictures of older machines. They are of the quality that only Apple could supply. I of course shrunk them down to 620-wide for the post, but the originals would make for some great wallpaper if you were to get creative.



You can also click on the “Your First Mac” link and pick what your first Mac was.



That brings you to a page that shows the top 5 Macs that people had for their first Mac, along with how they used it. If you click on “Tell us about your first Mac”, it takes you to a pretty cool page full of neat little Mac icons.



And they’re not just icons. They’re actually part of a custom font set.



Someone went to the trouble of not only posting the font on 9to5mac, but also converted them to .pngs.

To show them all, I just selected all the images in the Finder, hit the spacebar to bring up Quick Look, and took a screenshot.



Pretty neat. So neat that someone else also went to the trouble of putting them on a t-shirt. I just had to have it!



They posted it on Teespring for $25 bucks. They needed 50 shirts in order to go to print. The campaign ended with only 57 sales. So I guess this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
