Apple TV Gen 2 - 1080p

Apple TV | UnboxingI can't believe it's been
5 years since I picked up the last Apple TV. We use it everyday. Between iTunes, Netflix, and HBO GO, we've more than gotten out money's worth. I hardly watch "regular" TV any more.
The Apple TV has been upgraded from 720p to 1080p since I last bought mine. Apple just dropped the price of the current Apple TV from $99 to $69 bucks. That's a steal. We keep the Apple TV in the bedroom, where we watch the most TV. However, many a time we've had to relocate the Apple TV to the TV in the living room for when people are over. (Or we jut want to watch it on the bigger screen.)
I've been wanting to pick up another Apple TV for a few years, but there always seems to be a rumor that a new one (or a full-fledged Apple TV) is just around the corner. I don't see the Apple TV-TV happening any time soon, so with the recent price drop, no time was better than to pick up another one.
The box has seen a slight tweak since the last model. The "1080p" feature is prominently displayed along the side of the box.
The back has seen a change too.
As far as the inside of the box, as well as the unit and remote, they remain unchanged.
It's hard to take pictures of the Apple TV in low-light conditions. These pictures don't do it justice. It really looks great before it's covered in finger prints.
As for the rumors, the new one is that Apple is going to announce a new completely redesigned set-top-box with an App Store and Siri integration at WWDC this June. However, it'll be half a year before it hits the shelf. That's if it's even true. I figured I'd pick up another one now at the new low price. I've been holding off for years, so now I can watch the Walking Dead on the TV of my choice, without compromise.
